What exactly is a swatch?
A real 12″ × 12″ piece of your rug, hand-made from the same wool and in the same technique. It shows the true color and texture — not a printout or a yarn pom — so you can judge it in your own space.
How much is a swatch, and is it refundable?
Each swatch is $95 and non-refundable — but the full cost is credited toward your rug, so when you order, your sampling is effectively free.
How does the credit work?
After your swatch order, we'll email you a credit for the full cost of your swatches (up to $285) to use on your rug. Apply it at checkout within 90 days — it comes right off the price.
How many swatches should I order?
Order every colorway you're deciding between — comparing them side by side in your room is the whole point. The credit covers up to $285 (about three swatches) toward your rug.
What size are the swatches?
12″ × 12″ — large enough to read the color and feel the pile honestly.
When will my swatches arrive?
Ready-to-ship swatches leave our studio within 1–2 business days. Made-to-order swatches are woven for you and arrive in about two weeks. You'll see which is which on each swatch.
Will the swatch match my rug exactly?
The wool and color are true to your rug. Because every JUBI rug is hand-made, expect gentle, natural variation between the swatch and the finished piece — that's the mark of handcraft.
Where do you ship, and what does it cost?
We ship swatches worldwide. Shipping is free within the US; international shipping is calculated at checkout.

The Wool Library
What is the Wool Library?
A 2′ × 2′ hand-tufted piece carrying all 55 wools of the Studio's standard palette, one carved square each. It exists so you can judge color in your own light before your rug is made.
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes, in full. The Library is the studio's reference set on loan: return it within 60 days and the $150 goes back to your original payment method.
How do I return it?
A prepaid return label comes in the box. Send the Library back within your 60 days and the deposit refunds to your original payment method. Lost the label? Email hello@shop-jubi.com and we'll send another.
Why is the Library refundable when swatches aren't?
A swatch is yours to keep, and its $95 is credited toward your rug. The Wool Library is the studio's own reference set, which is why it's borrowed and refunded instead.
What if it comes back worn?
We expect it to be handled, walked on, and held up to lamplight; that's what it's for. Ordinary handling is fine. If a Library comes back damaged beyond further use, we may retain part of the deposit.
Do trade members pay the deposit?
No. The Library ships to trade members at no charge. Email hello@shop-jubi.com from your trade account.
